Donald Trump

Thoughtful comments by Scott Flake:

I have to admit, at first I was intrigued by Donald Trump and his non politically correct, direct approach. However, the more I have looked at him, the more he reminds me of the casinos he owns--showy and attractive on the outside but corrupt and indecent on the inside.

While his style is appealing in many ways, his lack of substance greatly concerns me. He seems to be a hollow, godless, soulless, self-serving person. Based on his divorces, bankruptcies, questionable business schemes, support of leftist people and causes, etc. I now strongly question his principles and motivation. To me he seems to be one seeking power for himself, not sincerely wanting to serve the American people or to further traditional American values.

I too I'm upset about the government and the condition of our country, but I feel like electing Trump is akin to striking out and slamming your fist into a wall in a fit of anger. It hurts your fist and may damage the wall but does not resolve the real issue.

Please look carefully at the character of the person you help choose to lead our wonderful nation.
